The 2022 Ford Explorer Showcases the ST-Line

The 2022 Ford Explorer ST adds a rear-wheel-drive-only model, which allows for more on-road handling for ST fanatics. Four-wheel drive is still available for those who would like to continue taking on varying terrains.

The ST-Line also offers performance-inspired appearance and technology, complete with bold styling. This model is perfect for those fascinated with the ST brand, without needing to upgrade to the Explorer ST model.

New Standard Engine For King Ranch and Platinum Trims

The King Ranch and Platinum trim levels of the 2022 Explorer will come standard with the ST’s 400-horsepower V6 engine. While the base engine of the Explorer line is a sure-fire performer, the upgraded V6 is the show-stopper that stops other SUVs in their tracks.

Also for the King Ranch and Platinum model is the Standard Technology Package, which includes a 10.1-inch touchscreen, multicontour seats and a 14-speaker B&O sound system.

Seating, Customization and Colors Galore

Along with a plethora of models to choose from, the Explorer seats up to seven and offers customization. Choose between a second-row bench seat or captain’s chairs inside, while showing off the new Stone Blue or Burgundy Velvet colors on the outside.
