What is the Ford Power Promise? The Ford Power Promise is a program that supports new Ford F-150 Lightning, Mustang Mach-E, or E-Transit Cargo Van customers from day one. It's designed to make EV ownership easy by providing support in key areas:- Home Charging

Home Charging
Charger & Installation Offer
If I don't want or need the complimentary home charger and standard installation, is there an alternative? Yes. For the duration of the promotion, if you are not eligible for or don't wish to claim the complimentary home charger and installation, you may be eligible for a bonus cash alternative. Please contact your dealer for more details.Can I get just the complimentary home charger OR the complimentary standard installation and still get some bonus cash? No. The complimentary home charger and standard installation are offered as a package deal and must be claimed together at the time of purchase or lease. If you choose this offer, you won't be able to claim the bonus cash alternative.
What if I've already selected the complimentary charger and installation, but a Qmerit electrician says my home requires more than a standard installation? Once you've selected the complimentary home charger and standard installation promotion and your vehicle purchase or lease is finalized, you are no longer eligible for the bonus cash alternative.
Which vehicles are eligible for the complimentary home charger and standard installation? As of July 8, 2025, eligible vehicles include new 2024 and 2025 model year Mustang Mach-E, 2025 model year F-150 Lightning, or 2024 and 2025 model year E-Transit Cargo Vans.
Charger Specific Questions
How do I get my complimentary home charge station? If you purchase or lease an eligible EV from a dealer during the promotion, you may receive your complimentary home charge station at the dealership. If the dealership doesn't have one in stock, they will arrange for it to be shipped to you.Which charger will I receive?
- If you get your charger directly from your dealer at the time of delivery, you will receive the Ford Charge Station Pro.
- If you receive a discount code via email from Ford, you will receive either the Ford Connected Charge Station or the Emporia Classic EV Charger 48A J1772 (hardwired).

Will I have to pay sales tax on the complimentary home charge station? No, you will not. However, you should consult with a tax professional regarding any other tax implications.

What is the warranty for the Ford home charge station? Ford provides a 3-year warranty for Ford home charge stations. You can find the full warranty details at
What if I return my vehicle? If you return your vehicle before the purchase or lease term is up and do not get a new eligible Ford EV as a replacement, you must return the complimentary home charge station. It must be in its original box, new, non-installed, and in resalable condition with all hardware and instructions included.
Installation Specific Questions
How do I get my complimentary home charge station installed? You will receive an email from customerservice@qmerit.com with instructions on how to begin the installation process.What if I didn't get an email from Qmerit? First, check your spam or junk folder. If you still haven't received an email after 5 business days, please contact your dealer.
What is a 'Standard Installation'? A 'Standard Installation' is part of the Ford Power Promise promotion and has these requirements:
- The installation must be at a residential property (single-family home, duplex, condo, or townhome) with its own electrical meter.
- The charger must be attached to the same structure as your main electrical panel.
- You are responsible for getting any necessary approvals from your homeowners' association or property owner.
- Permit fees
- Electrical infrastructure upgrades (like panel upgrades)
- Trenching
- Wiring runs that exceed 50 feet
- Drywall, stucco, or other wall repairs
- GFCI breakers or other non-dedicated breakers
- 240V electrical outlets
Can I choose my own installer? The complimentary installation is only covered when performed by a licensed electrician identified by Qmerit Electrification LLC. If you choose your own installer, the cost of installation is not included.

On-the-Road Charging

Open the app, select your country, and choose to create an account. Follow the on-screen prompts to enter your email, verify it with a code, and complete your personal details. After accepting the terms, you'll be prompted to add your vehicle.
How do I activate the BlueOval™ Charge Network? You can activate the BlueOval Charge Network through either the FordPass® app or Ford.com.
- In the FordPass® app: Go to the Connected Services section on the Vehicle screen, tap Activate under the BlueOval Charge Network, and follow the steps to add a credit card and accept the terms.
- On Ford.com: Log in, click your Profile, go to [Your Name]'s Account, then Connected Services. Under the BlueOval Charge Network, click Activate and follow the prompts to add your credit card and confirm.
How can I find public chargers and activate them using the FordPass® app? Tap the "Energy" button at the bottom of the FordPass home screen, then tap "Public Charging". The map will show you chargers near your location. For chargers within the BlueOval Charge Network, you can tap the icon on the map and then tap "Activate" to start a session. You can also use the filter icon to refine your search.
How do I route to a public charger using my vehicle's navigation system? If you have the Connected Navigation system, tap the Home icon on your SYNC screen, select "Navigation", and enter your destination. The system will automatically add necessary charging stops to your route.
Ongoing Support & Guidance
What is 24/7 Live Support? 24/7 Live Support is a service for new and existing F-150 Lightning and Mustang Mach-E owners. You can text a dedicated Ford advisor for help with EV-related questions on topics like charging, BlueCruise, or software updates.How do I enroll in 24/7 Live Support? You can sign up on the enrollment page, through the EV dashboard on owner.ford.com, or on the e-Comm Order Confirmation page if applicable. You must have a Ford account and your vehicle's VIN added to your garage to be eligible. Once enrolled, you will receive a welcome text from a Ford advisor.
Can I opt out of the service? Yes, you can opt out at any time by texting "STOP" to the Ford advisor. If you want to rejoin later, you can text "START" to the same number.
Is 24/7 Live Support available every day? The service is available 24/7, but it is not available on select holidays, including New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, the day after Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.
Where can I have my EV towed if I run out of charge? If you run out of charge and accept proactive towing assistance through the 24/7 Live Support Service, you can choose to have your vehicle towed (within 50 miles) to:
- A public charging station
- Your home residence
- A Ford dealer
